| BBR Perimeter Frame
and Elka Shock
The Perimeter frame/swingarm and Elka Shock
are an absoloute masterpiece.
You feel privileged to own one, It almost brought a tear to my eye
when I had to go test ride it and get it dirty/marked. As you are
aware I got the new +5" swingarm with mine of which im more
than happy with. It does look a little odd and long when you 1st
get it but that doesn't matter once you've ridden the bike :)
I've also opted for the stiffer spring even though im only 10.5st
but I do like pushing as hard as I can and I like the big jumps.
The bike tracks like a big bike and the suspension performs flawlessly.
It's not about the looks (although they do look sweet) for me but
just the way it handles.
The optional rear disc setup (BBR) was also well worth the money
and it's no surprise it's every bit as good as the frame. it has
a huge 3 bearing billet hub to reduce axle bend and chunky disc
that doesnt heat up and fade like many of the inferior mtb type
brakes.... it also comes with an adjustable extended billet rear
brake pedal.
All in all im VERY happy with what I have, if you haven't already
guessed!
Marzocchi Shiver 35mm Fork Upgrade
My Marzochi shivers have just seemed to get
better and better with each ride
as they have bed in. I like the 12" front wheel although J4S
and Mooie
reckon im cheating and its shite blah blah blah.... (jealousy :)
To be honest I think i had my BBR-SP5s set-up perfect before with
100ml 20wt oil and the shivers aren't that much better round the
woods where we ride but you do get the benefit of being able to
easily change the settings for other places to ride with just a
tweak of a driver and a couple of notches on the forks but when
it comes to hard riding they come into their own!
Fro Titanium Footpegs
The Fro Titanium Footpegs are the DB's......
They are so wide it doesn't make your foot bend in the middle and
you get the bonus of a huge hole in the middle for the dirt to fall
back through so it doesn't collect on the peg and they are plenty
grippy enough.
